…Web Developer

Early in my career, I worked on numerous programming projects. having worked on industrial controls and scripts for CAD programs. During the past decade, my focus has been on web-based script writing in PHP/MySql. One of the projects which I’m very happy with is the interactive pages as asmenh.org. This section of ASME International has a membership of over 200 and is run by a small group of volunteers. To automate the process of RSVP’s for an event, the site has an interactive page for processing guest requests, complete with a credit card processing option for those who prefer to pay for their tickets on-line.

Other projects include a research database with the ability to upload documents, and some more recent experiments using Python.

There are always ongoing projects on the Linux CGI server here at home which I’m anxious to share with you as they progress. This is a good time to say that, although this website spends a lot of time describing who I am, I want to emphasize that it’s meant to help you. Whether it’s to keep family and friends informed, or to promote a new YouTube on a gardening tip I learned, It’s my sincere hope that this site isn’t just about me.
